February 2024 Highlights: Operations: We finished the month of above budget expectations by 41K MTD and 241 YTD. Accrual of Grant Income, (Specifically Cares Act III 272K YTD) helped to offset expenses spent on salaries and staff development. Cares Act III grant was not included in operating budget.
Investments: As of February 2024, our market value on investments is 960K on 1,000,000 base. Loss of 2K for the month. Gain of 32K YTD.
Cash Position: As of July 2024, we are projecting a cash balance of 398K, net of cash reserves of 1.2 million. Cash reserves should represent approximately two months of operating expenses. it should be noted that as of February 29, 2024, we have an AR balance of 334K; (238K in Cares Act III; 46K in Title 1 and 50K security grant). received reimbursements totaling 25K in February. As of February 2024. Checks have been submitted to AP at APS totaling 154K, (44K in Title 1 and 110K in Cares Act III).
