January 2024 Highlights: Operations: We finished the month of December above budget expectations by 59K MTD and 252 YTD. Accrual of Grant Income, (Cares III totaling 42K and 259K MTD and YTD respectively), helped to offset expenses spent on salaries and staff development. Cares Act III grant was not included in operating budget.
Investments: As of January 2024, our market value on investments is 962K on 1,000,000 base. Gain of 2K for the month. 37K YTD
Cash Position: As of July 2024, we are projecting a cash balance of 351K, net of cash reserves of 1.2 million. Cash reserves should represent approximately two months of operating expenses. It should be noted that as of January 31, 2024, we have an AR balance of 352K; (256K in Cares Act III; 46K in Title 1 and 50K security grant).
Notes: Update on state ordered stipends.
