December 2023 Highlights: Operations: We finished the month of December above budget expectations by 90K MTD and 252 YTD. Accrual of Grant Income, (Cares III totaling 42K and 145K MTD and YTD respectively), helped to offset expenses spend on salaries and staff development. Cares Act III grant was not included in operating budget; We also received a charter school supplement of 40K in the month of December that was not anticipated or budgeted for having accumulated 23K in annual fund donations and 18K in rental income YTD.
Investments: As of December 2023, our market value on investments is 960K on 1,000,000 base. Gain of 28K for the month. 35K YTD.
Cash Position: As of July 2024, we are projecting a cash balance of 411K, net of cash reserves of 1.2 million. Cash reserves should represent approximately two months of operating expenses. it should be noted that as of December 31, 2023, we have an AR balance of 278K; (182K in Cares Act III; 46K in Title 1 and 50K security Grant.
