September 2023 Highlights: Operations: We finished the month of September above budget expectations by 4K MTD and 38 YTD. Monthly, Grant funding helped to offset loss in investments. Timing differences. YTD gain can be attributed to Grant Funding along with annual fund collections not budgeted of 20K.
Investments: As of September 2023, our market value investments is 907K on 1,000,000 base. Loss 18K for the month.
Cash Position: As of July, we are projecting a cash balance of 306K, net of cash reserves of 1.2 million. Cash reserves should represent approximately two months of operating expenses. It should be noted that as of September 30, 2023, we have an AR balance of 103K: (33K represents reimbursement for cafeteria for the month of September; 11K Math and Science supplement; 35K Title 1: 25K SEcurity Grant). Deposited checks totaling 83K for the month. Picked up another check for 10K on October 4th.
