• Committee Bylaws:
• Review Governance Committee Bylaws and agenda for the year
• Adjust Governance Committee Charter agenda as needed
• Re-formalize who is on the committee
• Board Composition:
• Perform formal quarterly review of existing board composition, terms ending, officers, discuss succession planning, performance
• Ask board members of their intentions for returning
• Recruitment
• Decide on open house date for the next month
• Discuss process for how to advertise the open house
• Advertise open house
• Onboarding:
• Finalize onboarding for presentation to new members before next meeting
• Get new/existing board members to update Board Member Agreement and Conflict of Interest forms
• Training:
• Review mandated Board level training requirements (for existing and new board members)
• Discuss potential training content and how to source it
• Develop some proposed dates for Fall retreat (who/how/when)
• Board Meeting
• Prepare abbreviated report of Governance Committee Charter and agenda for upcoming Board meeting
• Give brief update to Board of Gov Committee agenda for the year.
• Present proposed fall retreat dates and finalize a date with the Board.
