Welcome and Call to Order
The meeting will be called to the order.
Mid-year review of TMS diversity objectives
The Diversity Committee completed a comprehensive review of TMS diversity objectives, including goals centered on students, staff and the board. The review will be presented to the Board at its next meeting.
Update on EDI parent resources project
The Committee finalized items needed for the new school webpage focused on TMS work on diversity, equity and inclusion. The new webpage is expected to be available for the start of the school year.
General discussion
TMS executive Director Kelbaugh and Chair Cassidy led a discussion about ways the Diversity Committee can help support families at the beginning of the school year given current circumstances with the pandemic. Team members volunteered to research various childcare and remote learning support options that might be available in the community.
