Agenda Items

1) Review of 18 applications to serve on the Governing Board for 2019-2020 school year.

• Heather, Farrah, and Rebecca reviewed the applications and resumes submitted.
• The applicants were divided into 3 groups. Rebecca, Heather, and Farrah will call each applicant and thank them for applying and invited them to meet with our committee to interview them and learn more about what their skill set is and why they want to join our board.
• We determined 3 dates that we will be available to interview candidates.
• Applicants will be invited to the April Board meeting so they can see how our meetings operate.
• The full board will be made aware of our slate of candidates at the April Board meeting and we will vote on new members in our May Board meeting.

2) Review where we are in the process of amending the By-Laws.

• Heather shared some updates that she and Elisa Falco have been working on regarding changes to our By Laws.
• She will share the updates with our committee and we will vote in April and share with the full board in April for voting.
