Once a quorum is established, the meeting will be called to the order.

The meeting was called to order at 8:36 a.m.

Approval of Agenda

So that there is agreement between board members on the agenda, and the amount of time spent on the meeting, the board shall vote to approve an agenda for the meeting. To the best of its ability, it will follow that agenda, and allow for the chair to move the board through the agenda as specified.

  • 2017-2018 School Audit

Presentation of audit was given by Greg Logan.

Motion to approve made by Jennifer Fine seconded by Erin Rodgers.


  • Request to amend the 2018-2019 Budget to include a $65,000 curriculum expenditure increase to purchase new reading curriculum - Reading Street .

Presentation made by Dr. Ellison. Reading Street is a K-5 curriculum and is Common Core aligned. It provides a series of textbooks for students and teachers. This provides standardized and easily accessible information. It provides better resources for students who need additional assistance as well as students who read above grade level. It will greatly assist with our immediate need to close reading gaps in our K-5 students.

Approve the 2017-2018 School Audit subject to minor corrections

Approve Budget amendment to increase the Curriculum line item to $165,000 and to authorize the expenditure of $65,000 for Reading Street materials
